The banner that displays at the top of every page is a jpeg image that's in the file:

..\templates\lavinya6\images\HRGenericPhoto1.jpg (starting in the root directory of your site)

If you want to replace that image file with a new one, follow these steps:

  • Rename the original file to HRGenericPhoto1.old.jpg, say. This will ensure that you can go back if you want to.
  • Create a new file. The width of the file must be 960 pixels. The height of the file supplied in the template is 200 pixels.
  • Rename the new image to HRGenericPhoto1.jpg and copy it to your site.

Note: The image must include the background for the name of your site (Harvard-Radcliffe Class of 1900, for example), and for the "Class Website" text. This requires 95 pixels. You can create a new banner in Photoshop by editing the HRGenericPhoto1.jpg file.
